Hey, I’m Kasey —

photographer, beauty-bestie, music-obsessed sweet treat baker, superhero fangirl, and your go-to hype woman behind the lens. I come from a long line of chefs, crafters, and creative souls, and I’ve been chasing the magic of storytelling since the fifth grade. My parents handed me a disposable camera when I was ten, unknowingly jump-starting a lifelong love affair with photography.

After high school, I started out capturing big, bold celebrations; the kind with loud music, lots of dancing, and unforgettable energy. Since then, I’ve photographed everything from golden hour glows to quiet, honest moments between people who love each other (and themselves).

MY PHILOSOPHY

The Soft Rebel is all about celebrating individuality, love, and those in-between moments that tell the real story. My style is editorial but approachable. Think timeless, warm, and a little bit playful. Whether we’re chasing light in the city, running barefoot on the beach, or cozying up in your favorite spot, my goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and completely like yourself in front of my lens.

I shoot in a mix of editorial and documentary style - meaning I’ll guide you, but I won’t overpose you. We keep things easy, fun, and relaxed, with a blend of gentle direction and real moments as they happen. You don’t have to “perform” for the camera. You get to be yourself, and I’ll take care of the rest.
